Hi! I’m Kate.

I am a Savannah native with over 20 years of experience photographing people and a degree from the Savannah College of Art & Design. My mama got me my first disposable camera when I was just a kid, and I spent the entire 36 exposures documenting our backyard tomato plants and metal swing set. It wasn't nearly as artistic as it sounds! Although the subject matter has changed, my love for capturing beauty on film has not.

Growing up on the coast of Savannah was nothing short of idyllic, and the muddy banks and golden marsh grass often set the scene in my portraits. I aim to capture candid moments in time, so you can look back them for years to come.

As a mama to two little boys, I know just how important it is to take the picture! They will never be this little again. I embrace the unexpected when it comes to photographing small children, and you won’t ever have to worry about not getting “the shot” because your toddler won’t sit still. Many of my favorite images are of a jump, a twirl, or an adorable pout.
